Terjebak

Yesterday, Che Man picked me up late due to some I-don't-know-what jobs he needed to supervise. I decided to check on eBay – simply la nak buang masa. Lagi pun tak pernah jenguk website ni.

Me being me, terpandang books of 4 on bidding at veryyyy low price. Pantang tok nenek aku jumpa buku bagus yang murah; aku pun gatal gi bid sekali. Walhal sepatah haram pun aku tak pernah guna eBay ni, apalagi pasal dia punya terms & conditions. Sudahnya, I registered myself and I won the bid. Mampus! Buta-buta je aku buat commitment ni.

I checked the payment terms and it says - PayPal.

Kejadah apa PayPal ni? Well, no choice, since I have committed myself, so I have to read about PayPal & register pulak. So scary ok, to give out your credit card number online like that (walhal nko tak berapa paham lagi, what this is all about). Not that I’ve never done that before; I’ve given out my credit card number for hotels & flight bookings - but not using PayPal lah.

Checked eBay, registered, bid, lost, bid again (gatal!), won, panic, read PayPal, registered, received invoice, paid the seller & received receipt – all within half and hour.

Oh! That is not the only online commitment I made yesterday. I also made a commitment to Youthsays for a their upcoming project.

It is a very cool site. I make money daily because of the broadcast badge in my blog and just by taking some surveys from time to time. Yelah…. cam blog aku ni mana layak dapat Nuffnang adds (never tried / checked / clicked / registered pun!).

Now I only have to wait for the books to be delivered and for Youthsays to contact me – IF I am selected la.

I am sooooooo easily terjebak lah!
